Colleen manages the financial, operational and administrative functions of the practice. Her role supports the firm’s strategic and operational goals. Colleen draws on her years spent in the financial industry to bring experience in improving processes, financial and profitability analysis, and realizing business objectives to her work for Caldwell Intellectual Property.
Colleen graduated in 1997 from Simmons College in Boston, MA with a double major in Accounting and Computer Science. Upon graduating, Colleen accepted an offer to work at Coopers & Lybrand (which soon after became PriceWaterhouseCoopers) in Boston, MA in their Computer Assurance Services Department working with large clients such as Fidelity and Scudder Investments. Colleen moved to New York City in 1999 and joined The Bank of New York. From there, Colleen accepted a position with the Prime Brokerage Client Services team at Goldman Sachs in New York City where she worked for four years servicing hedge fund clients before moving home to Vermont to be with her now husband, Eli Moulton. After returning home in 2004, Colleen became the Director of Business Development at Kelliher Samets Volk, a small marketing firm in Burlington, VT. In 2006, Colleen accepted an offer with Merrill Lynch in their Global Wealth Management Department working with high net worth individuals. After eight years at Merrill Lynch, Colleen decided to become a full time mom until her husband resigned as partner of his previous law firm to launch The Moulton Law Group (MLG), where Colleen now acts as Practice Manager for MLG and Caldwell Intellectual Property.
