Cady is a patent assistant in the Patent and Trademark practice and performs a wide range of duties in support of our patent practitioners including:
Reviewing and managing files and docket for deadlines
Communicating with clients throughout the prosecution of applications
Managing new client intake and opening of matters, assisting with the firm’s development efforts, and
Providing back-up support and project assistance as needed
Cady is a recent graduate of Northeastern University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Sociology with a minor in Law and Public Policy. During her time at Northeastern, Cady participated in the co-op program, where she got her first exposure to working in the field of law.
Prior to joining the firm, Cady gained experience at another law firm in Boston. Cady is an avid reader, and in her free time she enjoys giving back to those in her community.
Cady has a worked with several Boston-based organizations over the years. She volunteered as a tutor at 826 Boston, a local youth writing center and publishing organization that offers free writing and tutoring programs to Boston students for free. She has also spent time working with Jane Doe Inc., the Massachusetts Coalition against Sexual Assault and Domestic Violence.
