Mary is a Paralegal in the Patent and Trademark practice and performs a wide range of duties in support of our patent practitioners:

  • Preparing all necessary documents for U.S. and international patent and trademark filing and prosecution

  • Filing of patent and trademark documents in the USPTO, including U.S. utility and design patent applications, PCT applications, trademark applications, and Office Action responses of all types

  • Supporting our patent practitioners in docket and practice management

  • Communicating with clients and foreign associates throughout prosecution of application


Before joining the firm, Mary gained experience in patent law at larger firms, supporting partners and assisting in the patent prosecution process and management of client portfolios.

Mary graduated from Marquette University in 2016 where she interned as a community organizer and spent a Semester at Sea studying international politics on an educational excursion around the globe. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science with a minor in Social Welfare and Justice, and is a member of the Political Science Honor Society, Pi Sigma Alpha.

Along with working at the firm, Mary is an experienced yoga teacher with an interest in bringing balance and inclusivity into the workplace. She teaches both corporate and non-corporate yoga and meditation classes and in her free time enjoys traveling and learning about a variety of cultures.
