About Dr. Medina:

Nilton Medina, MD is a surgeon at Boston Medical Center specializing in plastic and reconstructive surgery and has over 18 years of experience in the field of medicine. He graduated from Dartmouth Medical School with his medical degree in 2003. Dr. Medina is also an Assistant Professor of Surgery in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery at the Boston University School of Medicine. Since the start of his academic career, Dr. Medina has been an academic standout and has received awards for his grades, honored for his community service, and has been inducted into honor societies like The Golden Key National Honor Society. He was also nominated to be on the Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges list. Additionally, he has received funding from the NIH and worked there as a research fellow in medical school. He is multilingual and speaks Spanish, French, Portuguese and Portuguese Creole.
