Overview
Ariel is a Technical Specialist and assists with all aspects of patent prosecution:
- Preparation and prosecution of patent applications
- Development and patentability analysis for clients
- Assisting with Patent Trial and Appeal Board Procedures including interferences, reexamination proceedings, inter partes reviews (IPR), post-grant reviews, ex parte appeals, and other proceedings before the PTAB
- Patent prosecution strategies for business growth and success
Experience
Prior to joining the firm, Ariel worked as a dental technician at a dental laboratory. Ariel also worked as a research assistant and an office assistant under the Chair of Biomedical Engineering (BME) Department at Wentworth Institute of Technology, where she graduated with a degree in Biomedical Engineering. As a research assistant, she updated resources on emerging trends in BME, performance analysis of Left Ventricular Assist Device and Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement, and regulation in medical devices. As an office assistant, she successfully assisted formulating BME program and BME reports.
Outside of work, she enjoys going on a drive with music, exploring new restaurants, rock climbing, skiing and spending time with friends and family.
