Maggie is a Technical Specialist in the field of power and energy sources, which spans multiple technologies and applications. While helping to manage the strategic growth initiatives of Caldwell Intellectual Property Law, Maggie also assists with all aspects of power and energy patent prosecution:

  • Preparation and prosecution of patent applications related to power and energy
  • Development and patentability analysis for power and energy source clients
  • Assisting with Patent Trial and Appeal Board Procedures including interferences, reexamination proceedings, inter partes reviews (IPR), post-grant reviews, ex parte appeals, and other proceedings before the PTAB
  • Patent prosecution strategies for business growth and success


Dr. Teliska-Parke draws on more than 15 years of experience and leadership in the automotive and telecommunications industries, bringing a wealth of knowledge to the technical and commercial aspects of power and energy sources. Her knowledge spans academia, the federal government, and private industry. Early in her career, she developed novel electrode materials and fundamental reactions in fuel cells and batteries at the university level and for the US Navy. She has held several leadership positions in engineering, sales, and operations for the Johnson Controls Battery Group. Maggie has also been a founder and entrepreneur who understands the demands and challenges in protecting intellectual property to ultimately achieve success.
