Karl Gadicke is an Co-op student at Caldwell. In his position, he assists with:
- Preparation and prosecution of foreign and domestic patent applications
- Assessing the patentability and developing patent protection strategies for business growth and success
- Intellectual property portfolio strategy and management
Karl is a 3L at Northeastern University School of Law, working at Caldwell for the Spring Co-op term. He is a patent agent with over 3 years of experience working at other IP law firms, primarily for biotech clients. Highlights from his prior experience include drafting patent applications covering a variety of oncology programs, conducting thorough patentability and freedom to operate searches, and writing reexam requests. Karl received a Bachelor’s Degree in Pure Math and Economics from Suffolk University.
Outside of work, Karl enjoys distance running, hiking, skiing, travelling, and spending time with friends, family, and his dog.
